Too Much Information

TMI - Often when I start a new artwork I tend to include too much information. Information that is too personal or too specific kills the autonomy of the work in becoming. Therefore I write regularly on my work. I call those writings snack writings - I get rid of an immediate urgency to explain my work, without losing my appetite.

This blog is an attempt to take the writings out of the studio and test where parts of these immediacies are relevant for others. Different then in my work, the writings are addressed to one person. One that is always there too absorb and remember the immediate urgencies that come up. Being in public domain as we are now, this one is never the same. One may be you or someone else, but at least we are always here with the two of us.
